Meet
Amanda Polglase - CEO
Meet Amanda, the owner and founder of Girls with Amptitude. As a disability advocate and fully accredited counsellor, Amanda is also a student of the Hawaiian healing arts completing certification in Lomi Lomi and Ho’ponopono.
Amanda founded Girls with Amptitude to foster a place where those with a disability can raise their voice and be heard through education, support and tools. Amanda became an amputee at the age of 7 after being diagnosed with Ollier’s disease.
Living with a disability and having to experience the challenges that are presented every day, found that many businesses did not have the space or understanding of being inclusive for their clients who identify as having a disability. Knowing it was an education gap and not a deliberate decision Amanda has set about creating course content and customised talks to support their growth.
Amanda wants to bridge the gap between clients and business ensuring we foster an inclusive environment and amplify the voice of those living with a disability. Amanda is an international best selling author.
